Feed, Drink, & Fluff

Going through the archives this morning ... never can seem to keep up. Came across this image of a marbled godwit in the shallow waters just off the shore of a small lake. It had been foraging and drinking water, then all of a sudden fluffed itself displaying its beautiful feathers. Marbled godwit have such a pretty bill ... long, slender, slightly curved, and multi-colored ... pink with a black tip. Hope that you like it.
