I've been to the PHL so many times now that it kind of takes a special event to get me out for a take that I haven't seen yet. Today's sunrise on fresh snow was definitely one of those events.

 

Note to Portland Headlight keepers, please open the gates when conditions are this gorgeous, old men dressed in multiple layers against the cold get very warm when forced to jog into the park through heavy snowdrifts...

 

I got a couple more shots on the day but may have missed the shot of the year with a comp I didn't see until after the sun was well up... Oh well, that's why we keep hunting.
