Where do you go from here?
I don't want to seem like I am whining, but seriously how do you take that next step in your photography. This is a perfect example of a photo that I would have been thrilled to take 6 months ago but now just kind of fills me with MEH... Hit Fort Williams again this morning because conditions are not close to what I am looking for but I was in the mood to shoot. This is one of a dozen photos that all came out about the same. I do like them but really wonder if I have it in me to produce really great stuff. I have a tendency to get competetive in anything I do and I see these photos that really move me and want to do the same.
I think I have gotte to the point where it's not the processing that is holding me back but the actual composition and shooting. Practice practice practice I suppose but if anybody has any shortcuts, let me know!!!
Looked at the forecast this morning and really? Not a single cloud for the next 9 days? I have a growing list of places I want to get in the morning but...
