Blooming fractal
Paper: Hexagon cutted from sandwichpaper painted with watercolour pencil
Model: Joanna Sobczyk
When I learned this model, it reminded me immediately after curling the leaves of a water lily. I had a self-painted green hexagon with me, but didn't use it, as it was white on the other side. Back home, I painted the other side pink-lilac and made another fold of this wonderful model. Sinking was a bit tedious, for the paper was not as easy to handle as Kraft but still lots of fun. The sun was about to set, when I was finished, so I rushed to take photos. Like I intented it hopefully resembles a water lily.
