8-21 Two Medicine
So, if you want to get some idea of what we're doing, here is the official hiking trail map of this area of the park (Warning: The map is interactive and makes noise when you mouse over certain parts).
Our first day was spent hiking the 5 miles from Two Medicine to No Name Lake, where there is a back country campsite. The next day was to be a 12 mile hike from No Name Lake across Dawson and Pitamakan pass, past Morning Star lake, to a back country campsite I forgot the name of (Atlantic creek, maybe?) And day three was to be a 10 mile day over the Triple Divide Pass, and then down to St. Mary (not shown on the map I linked you to).
(I'll explain why our plans changed en route later...)
Anyway, I didn't take many photos our first day, hiking from Two Medicine to No Name Lake. And that is because I did not get a chance to eat anything, and blacked out on the trail. I was fine, but after that I realized I have to time myself when I'm really exercising for more than a couple hours, and make sure I eat something every hour. After I started doing that, it got much better.
