8-21 Logan Pass Visitor Center

Glacier story time! So, we decided to fly out this year instead of driving like last year. I could only get a week off work, and we didn't want to take up two days off either end with driving. So we flew into Kalispell, Montana, which is about 30-40 miles west of Glacier. We took a shuttle from the airport to Apgar, the built up "regular" campground on the west side of the park (it has car camping, hookups for RVs, restaurants, and little stores). I don't have any photos from that day aside from my self portrait (which was an armslength inside the tent).

Our next day, we woke up early and hit the ranger station for our backcountry permits. We planned a route that started that day on the other side of the park. So we took the shuttles across the park to get started.

This is the Logan Pass visitor center, in the middle of the park, where we had to transfer buses.
