Friday: Many Glacier
The mist rising up the mountain in the morning.
The campground we were in was a "regular" campground, with running water, bathrooms, and sites for RVs. Because of this, people wouldn't use the food lockers, would leave food wrappers and things that smelled like food (like toothpaste) in their tents. But this is still firmly bear territory. The guy we were staying with saw a moose about 10 feet from the other side of the creek, and the rangers pointed out a grizzly on the mountain. A deer walked right through our site.
I didn't like that there was a dumb kid staying at our site, too. He left food out all the time.
We mostly spent Friday recuperating. Brendan took the shuttle to get our car from the Canadian border (which took forever because he was almost back when he realized he'd left the camera on the shuttle). So I didn't take many pictures.
