Day 60- Stuff I Hate: Cancer
On the left is one of everything she takes each day. On the right is how many pills she actually takes each day.
Magnesium Oxide: Round white pill, for blood magnesium levels. She takes 2400mg/day.
Gabapentin: Oval white pill, for nerve pain. She takes 3600mg/day.
Ranitidine: Round pink pill, for acid reflux. She takes 300mg/day.
Sprintec: Smaller blue pill, to suppress menstruation.
Sulfamethoxazole: Oval white pill, to prevent pneumonia. She takes 320mg/day on the weekends.
Omeprazole: Yellow and white capsule, for acid reflux. She takes 40mg/day.
Morphine: Thicker blue pill, for pain. She takes 125mg/day.
That doesn't include her nausea medicine, which she doesn't need right now, or her breakthrough medication for pain and nausea. And as you can possibly tell, all the white pills are uncoated, and a bitch to get down. Obviously, this doesn't include her chemotherapy, which she only gets in the hospital, or the supplemental stuff they give her with the chemo, including more nausea medicine, pain medicine, and steroids.
