It's an IV pole and saline bag. But beyond that. The hospital tries to have kids out for Christmas, but there are some people who have to be in the hospital over the holiday. And they do all they can to make the hospital feel Christmassy, with tons of donated gifts and a decorated Christmas tree. But it's still a hospital. And for the little kids, they can't even be with their families. Kids under 18 aren't allowed on the unit, so most of the patients can't see their siblings.
Worse when you realize that the transplant patients are on that floor too, and are there for at least a month. Without being able to visit their siblings. And that's because everyone has the swine flu.
