Day 335- Slide!
Taking a break at a rest stop in Minnesota, because I overdosed on caffeine, and had an upset stomach.
So, I'll mention it again later, but it turns out Casey fractured her pelvis. The doctors were discussing her options (not a whole lot you can do for a broken pelvis), and she said that if they're going to do an amputation, just amputate the stupid thing already. Problem solved. We don't have a surgery date yet, and I'll let you know when we do, but they've tentatively set it for 4-5 weeks.
You know what else is in 4-5 weeks? The end of my 365 project. If you've been around all year, you also know that I started it on my birthday. Happy birthday! Here's a leg. Yay. To be fair, they're pretty lenient on the date, so when they're actually setting up dates, Casey's going to try to get the surgery to happen AFTER my birthday.
