My Own Way Down

I just got Casey's windmill tattoo from the same artist who did hers 3 years ago (Greg at Custom Tattoo in Milwaukee).

 

I am thinking my left arm is going to turn into a Casey arm. I was originally going to get the windmill more on the front of my arm, so I could see it better, but I want to leave my inner arm open for a quote in her handwriting, once I find the right one (probably the lyrics from To Dream the Impossible Dream from Man of La Mancha, which is what the windmill symbolized for her anyway).

 

(I ran this all past her before she died, and she liked the idea. It just took me this long to be ready to do it.)

 

I know I've been super inactive here. I'll be back. Just not yet.
