I almost never stop in the 24-hour Starbucks in Old Town...well, not to buy stuff, anyway. But I felt like having a hot chocolate there tonight (inferior to the Borders/Seattle's Best Cocoa Trio, and to Starbucks' more expensive "Signature" hot chocolates). I finished the wonderful book about the Hudson's downtown Detroit store (demolished 1998), and I'm working on a 600-page book about the civil rights movement in the northern U.S.
