Collected Poems of Freddy The Pig
Years ago, my first job was a "page" in the children's room of Mobile Public Library. I was 16. I became acquainted with Freddy The Pig that year, specifically this one poem remaining in my memory the better part of 50 years.... apparently the book and I started our library work together. In all the years I worked on boats, during especially rainy periods, I'd quote the final verse....and be glad that I had a ship as Freddy imagined.
