Hutchinson Brownfield Solar Ceremony

On December 2, 2015 the City of Hutchinson switched on the largest solar installation on a brownfield site in Minnesota. Built on the site of a 1970s era city dump, the 400 kilowatt array powers the wastewater treatment plant next door, helping offset energy use for the city’s largest municipal energy consumer.
