I went exploring yesterday to a part of my neighborhood I've never been to. Behind the elementary school is a creek that I've finally found a way to cross. Once on the other side, I found what appears to be an old park of sorts that has been converted into a city tree nursery. There is a trail that is kept mowed and has trail markers on it like the one pictured above. Little did I know, I was halfway down the trail when I snapped this one.
Oddly enough, for being dead smack in the middle of the city, the trees around made it very quiet and serene. If it weren't for the neatly mowed trail, I'd have though I was the first to see this park in a very long time.
Oh, and I decided to try out a new watermark to add to my flickr photos. I've started using the L2/Mogrify plugin for lightroom to automagically attach it to exported photos. Let me know if it is too intrusive and I'll rethink it.
