Today Ben had his 1 year checkup. His new stats: exactly 20 lbs., 29.25 inches long, still has a giant head. He did pretty well with his shots, but later he was kind of fussy, which is unusual for him. But he might have just been too tired. It's hard to tell. So he goes back in 3 months, but I hope we'll be able to see Dr. Leo by then. Dr. Patel will be gone by then, anyway, on maternity leave (lucky dog!). Also I want to mention that while we were in the waiting room, Ben walked over to a toy and started playing with it and with this other kid. I was so glad that he wasn't too scared to walk away from us. Go Ben!
