Small copper up close
I spent a lot of time hunting small coppers again over the weekend just past. There were still loads of them around. The weather was great for them over the weekend.
This photo was taken just over a week ago, and is a crop of the original shot, to give a closer view of the little butterfly (as promised to Fletty Flicks!). The yellow flowers it is feeding on are ragwort, and I think the yellow goes rather well with the orange.
