This irrigation flume carries water from sources in the San Jacinto Mountains, primarily Lake Hemet and the San Jacinto River, to the agricultural fields in the San Jacinto Valley.

 

In the foreground are grapefruit orchards, which soon give way to the residential and commercial development of Hemet.
