VIAtech + AMD500 MHz

Very strong system. VIA tech with Apollo MVP4 chipset. Carries WinME but (linked) problems with virus and HDD - some bad clusters. New Seagate HDD on the way. Above average system. Looks very promising.

 

VIA Apollo MVP4 was introduced in late 1998 - supports Socket 7, includes in-chip graphics controller. Chip set also consists of two chips, a north and a south bridge.
