Lamb Meatballs after adding to the sauce

Once the sauce has been prepared, and the water added and brought back to the boil, the meatballs can be added. But you can't stir the sauce after this, and must hope that they float 10 minutes or so, and just shake the pan gently until the meatballs are cooked so that they don't break up.
