James Walsh, Roll Beginning
Every time I load a new roll of film into my camera, the first shot always comes out half exposed (it's hard to explain without showing you the open back of the camera, but that's the way it works). I usually reserve the half-exposed shot for planning - making sure I've set up the shot correctly.
The shot itself is always a little strange in its exposure - so even if I were to consider using it, it'd still be the most weirdest-looking shot of the series. But I love the way they look, so I thought I'd post them here.
Plus, I've been wanting to post some unedited photos. I *did* edit the contrast a little in some of the shots, but I decided to leave in the dust, scratches, and borders. I do think they look cool.
