Little Triangle Quilt finished!

Finally the sun came out!

I was inspired by a pinterest link (to this pattern available from Etsy), my bottomless scrap bag, and some neutral fabric I got in a grab bag from fabric.com. This was a relatively easy quilt to make, but the bias seams make for interesting interpretations of "flat". Thankfully a heretical blast of steam sorted the worst of it out.

I quilted a double grid around the squares, then a diamond shape to echo the alternating neutral layout. I bound with a scrappy binding that I tried to colour match as best as possible with a few little bright spots for contrast. I think the binding really makes the quilt!

I'm pretty sure this is going to be a gift for my cousin who is due in March. Hopefully it's gender neutral enough.
