Freshly crinkled

I finished Jeff's quilt with two days to spare! Here it is all crinkled straight from the drier. I am so happy with it!

 

I used the tutorial for the Strip Twist Quilt from Quiltville, two orange jelly rolls from ebay and Kona cotton in espresso. I quilted with variegated orange thread on the front and dark brown on the back because I didn't really want to quilt lines to be visible.

 

This is a gift for my friend and coworker Jeff, who will be leaving my lab for New Mexico in a couple of weeks. He's a great guy, a really good friend and a lover of orange.
