It’s strange to think that Taizo and Nico will never meet like this in their youth. By the time Taizo was born, Nico was already a dignified 88 year old widow.

 

Taizo and Mrs. Nixon met once before Taizo’s father disappeared into the clouds one day. Taizo, at five, barely remembers their meeting aside from a song she sang on the porch of a distant England and the First Great War.
