MINUSMA Force Commander Lieutenant General Dennis Gyllensporre visited Aguelhok accompanied by Sector North Force commander, MINUSMA Kidal Head of Office and a Chadian delegation led by the country’s Minister of Defense. The objective of the visit was to assess the situation and show support to the Chadian peacekeepers following the attack against MINUSMA camp in Aguelhok. The same day, MINUSMA Force Commander traveled to Kidal city, where he visited the wounded soldiers at the Togolese hospital and held a meeting with the President of the Coordination des Mouvements de l’Azawad (CMA), at the office of le Haut-Conseil pour l'Unité de l'Azawad (HCUA).
