~another view of skull from divinity tattoo~

The marble skull was carved from a 400lb block of marble.

This project took approximately 300hours and was done over 7months time.

It sits in "Divinity Tattoo" shop in scottsdale AZ...

& the artist is Paolo.

 

He is the same artist who i am collaborating w/ to do a back piece on me..

 

It will be an extension of the :

OM MANI PEDME HUM

already across the small of my back.

 

There will be a lotus flower ....

& the Medicine Buddha (the blue guy..lol)

above it....

 

along w/ what i trust will be other beautiful incorporated pieces Paolo will add in.

 

He will be doing a large acrylic painting first .....to work up a full image that flows ....& then tattoo that on my back =)

 

He is booked out quite far....usually a yr...but due to his personal interest in Buddhism....we anticipate it being end of summer/ beginning of fall.

 

I have waited a long time...& done much research on artists..../ shops.../ ideas for the tattoo.....& not only is he an extremely talented artist....

it feels right.....
