kilcrue cross
A 1.6m tall stone with a large expansional cross carved on the north-facing side. Part of an early Christian settlement. Possibly an older standing stone that has been 'Christianised'. The little circle of stones surrounding it are not original. It stands in a pretty overgrown area of waste ground and spoil from the nearby quarry, just a few metres off the main A44 from Ballycastle to Armoy.
