The beautiful lobby of the Millenium Biltmore Hotel, Downtown Los Angeles, CA.
This is a three-shot vertical panorama. Because the Biltmore doesn't allow tripods, I had to shoot it handheld at a high ISO. It also took a while in photoshop to straighten the photo and eliminate distortions. Lastly, I had to tweak any blown out areas, such as the lamp at the top. Interestingly, it was late night and dark when I shot this, but I brightened things up and I like the late day look of it all.
For now, I'm just happy the shot worked, although the lobby looks a bit taller than in real life, I think. It's on my list of shots to revisit.
