Oil-stained Western Gull
From the Cosco Busan oil spill in the San Francisco Bay November 7, 2007. I've seen many birds that while aren't completely covered, have some oil on their bodies, especially their undersides which are in the water most of the time. I've also seen birds that are completely covered. This gull probably won't be captured and cleaned because it can still fly. (Alcatraz in the background)
