What is the most important historical fact or event that has happened in your lifetime:
The attack and subsequent destruction of The Twin Towers. At my university, an oral exam got cancelled without us knowing why. When I got home and turned on the tv to watch the afternoon news, I just sat devestated for hours, not believing my eyes. The event had such a monumental impact on everybodys life, no matter if they were American or something else. In many ways, it still defines daily life for many people, soldiers and civilians alike.

The birth of my first son or surviving years of stupid stunts.
