My camera was set on a tripod, and did some intervalometer-shooting.
It was 5.10a, and we had this idea that it would be a walk in the park...I never got more than a foot of the ground, cause I could only fit 1/3 of a hand in the crack. It was also slightly overhanging...we were tired and - oh well, lots of excuses :-)
...Thinking: It could be fun to build a rig to mount the camera on the route above the climber. Remote camera's is used like crazy in sports like basketball, swimming etc. It should be possible to create a stable mount for the climbing walls. Some tripods have a hook for hanging a weight off. Maybe this hook could be attached tightly to a bolt or camalot for a pretty stable platform. Some backups would of course be needed - you don't want to drop your camera :-)
