The hotel...

Inside were a couple of empty rooms. The last time they were used was for collecting pigeon-guano. The guano was used as a fertilizer for the wine-farms.

 

Getting in to these places required actual climbing skills. Hand- and footholds had been cut into the rock. Over time, the holds have rounded since the rock itself is quite soft.
