Book

This is one of the beautiful books at the musum of islamic art situated in Istanbul.

 

I find old beautifully constructed books very attractive. The illuminations combined with arabic caligraphy is really artful, and at the period of this book it was considered one of the greates artforms.

 

Definitly worth a visit, but there are better museums in Istanbul though.
