நிறங்கள் / Colors of the world

Indian roller, as usual my friend Venki spotted it in Pallikaranai. He is a genius for sure in spotting birds, he spots them just like that and the only thing I do is click them. It was raining that day but we still clicked to make sure we get the best shots. This is one close to my heart, it was the first time I am seeing such colors and the way it showed its colors was like saying to me, you have been in this world for more than 25 years, you think you know more things in the world, I was flying around you since you were born, but have you ever noticed me? This is how you and most of your fellow humans observe the world. You don't know even 1% of what nature is but you still keep saying you know this world in and out, how funny :).How true :(? நீ சோம்பல் முறித்து சிறகு விரிக்கையில் தான் கவனித்தேன்,

எத்தனை நிறங்கள் உன் சிறகுகளில்,

சற்று பொறுத்து தான் சிந்தித்தேன்,

இத்தனை நிற வேறுபாடுகளிருந்தும்,

பறவைகளுக்கிடையே தீண்டாமையில்லை,

சாதிப் பிரிவினையில்லை,

தீவிரவாதமில்லை,

போரிட்டு எந்தப் பறவையும் மடிவதுமில்லை,

ஆனால் மனித மனங்களுக்குள் மட்டுமேன்,

இத்தனை நிறங்கள்???
