நின்றுபோகையில்

கடிகாரம் எட்டிப்பிடித்த

ஒருபாதி

நகர வழியின்றி

நின்று கொண்டிருக்கிறது

கடிகார நிழலில்.

நிழலுக்கப்பால்

எட்டிப்பார்க்க முடியாத

வெளிச்சத்தினுள்

எங்கோ அலைந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது

மறுபாதி.

அலையும் பாதியை

எட்டிப்பார்க்க

கடிகாரம் நகர்கையில்

நகரக்கூடும்

நங்கூரத்தோடு சேர்ந்து கடலும்...
