sharpie on roof
While washing dishes, I saw this immature Sharp-shinned hawk land on the roof across the street. I turned off the water, dried my hands and grabbed the camera and took a few shots through the window, but the light was dying and my camera doesn’t like that, so I took it outside and walked to my mailbox and used it as a support to get some closer shots. None was terrific. This is the best one, but it still leaves much to be desired. I still think it’s neat to live where hawks hang out.
