Baseball stitches
Baseballs are hand-stitched, with 108 stitches in the cowhide leather of each ball, done by hand. The leather is prepared with a rolling machine, and the stitching process is done after the leather is prepared. These hand-sewn stitches create an aerodynamic surface that improves flight and grip.
