Challenge #13:
Take a photograph of a place that is less than one mile from your home.

The ruin of Wordsell's Windmill can be found less than a mile from my house in the fields between Waddington and Harmston near Lincoln. Built in 1820, it's sails turned until 1908 and then was left to rot. The two remaining sails were removed in 1927 and the upper part of the tower was pulled down early in the WWII because of its proximity to the airfield. It now stands partly surrounded by trees and undergrowth, a disused and derelict shell.
