Fisherman's Friend

The arch of the Milky Way almost seems to be beaming straight out of the Manukau Heads Lighthouse. This old beauty was first lit in 1874 and was finally decommissioned in 1986. During that time I'm sure it was a comforting sight to many a skipper approaching the harbour entrance.
