Highway in the Skyway
I love it when an image captures so many things. This is a frame from a timelapse I shot at my last Auckland Astro Workshop. Here we have the Milky Way, Venus, Zodiacal Light, Iridium Flare (comp from 6 shots), and our workshop photographers enjoying Piha's clear skies. This spot had a reading of 21 on the light pollution/dark skies meter, which is pretty damn dark! 22 is the absolute dark sky limit but not sure if any places have achieved that yet.
