No Pants Subway Ride Dallas 2016

by Michael B. Nguyen

Today is the annual No Pants Subway Ride day. Originally started in New York in 2002 by Improv Everywhere, it's since become an international phenomenon as flash mobs worldwide strip off their pants while riding the underground rapid transit.

Doing a rough count there were about a 100 participants in the Dallas flash mob. The original meeting point and briefing was at Union Station. From there they rode to Cityplace/Uptown Station where the group stopped to take pictures. After that, they were split into two groups, one heading toward Plano on the Red Line, the other toward Rowlett on the Blue Line. Both groups then headed back the way they came toward Deep Ellum for the after-party celebration.
