Easter P. Nance Sextet

Helping an old colleague of mine videograph his own jazz band, Easter P. Nance Sextet at Stoney’s Wine Lounge.

 

I knew Easter, or should I say Norvis back when we both worked for KDFW Fox 4 on the set of Good Day. He was a photographer for many decades and I was a summer intern straight out of high school. I ran into him by accident last year and later helped film his son, Djore Nance, at Tuesday Nite Jazz inside St. Paul United Methodist Church in downtown Dallas.
