Fog City

Shooting from Hawk Hill is like a box of chocolates...you really just never know...

I jumped in the car and took a chance this morning, only to be pleasantly surprised to find low fog on the bridge. It flowed in and out, receded and then rolled in again just before sunrise. This is a shot from civil twilight, while the city lights were still aglow. Despite all this apparent weather action taking place, there was little to no wind at all up on the hill, making for a very pleasant experience.

I was shooting with my good friend Rob Y. Also ran into David Yu, Andrew Louie, and Hug n Angels up there, so I knew I was in good company.

This is a single frame, single exposure, 30-sec shot. Lens is my early 80's Pentax A-120/4 Macro, an oldie but a goodie. Camera is the Pentax 645D.

Thanks for looking!
