A tree blocks the view of this waterfall. Fortunately I had grabbed my monopod for use as a walking stick. I remembered a technique that Roger Smith used for this photo:

Roger uses a USB remote shutter. I didn't have mine with me so instead we used our 2 second self timer and then quickly lifted the camera into position. Thanks for the tip Roger!
