Solo Strobist Meetup

I did a photo meetup on meetup.com, however people couldn't make it. (after I went to jump start one person's car). So... I tried to hold it solo, Here is the progression.

Hmm a bit dark, some light from the flash though.

whoops wrong lens shade, hmm the flash isn't firing

ZOT!! yep, the flash is on, the sky is correctly exposed though.

hmm, the building is a bit over exposed, let me add that grid.

grid on, now the building is not quite so bright, flash turned down too.

The sun is providing a nice rim light high camera left.

The camera is on a light stand, time to get the tripod

Can't find the bolt to for the tripod shoe

glasses angled for no reflection

No glasses for slightly blurry world

Let's see how this looks.
