Simple Science...

Many of us enjoy boutique liquid soaps. You press the plunger and just beneath it, there's a small cylinder, piston and spring.

 

A narrow tube extends to the bottom of the bottle, and a vacuum has been created. Your favorite essence is drawn up the tube and delivered to your hand. Simple. It works.
