Almond blossoms - Painterly...

Well friends, it's February 9th and the Almond blossoms in Jerusalem & vicinity are right on schedule. We've had a cold snap with some near to freezing temperatures at night, and the flowers did not seem to mind at all.

 

The actual blossoms are about 1 to 1-1/4 inches across, and a painting tool was applied to the image.
