A throwback to December 1991
With my London Buses formal cap, my PCV badge with the 'N' licensing code and my trusty Gibson A14 ticket machine this could almost be a photograph taken in December 1991 as opposed to December 2021 as back in 1991 the Gibson A14 ticket machines were still very much in service on London Buses' Routemaster-operated routes, with the Gibsons being phased out and replaced by the then new electronic Wayfarer 'Clipper' machines in the summer of 1993. The last of London Buses' bus garages to use Gibson machines was Westbourne Park on routes 7 and 23.
