RML 2412 in its early 1970s London Country livery

Superbly restored internally and externally back into its original condition as would have been the case when the vehicle ran with London Country following the split of the former Country Area bus operations from London Transport in January 1970, RML 2412 models the attractive (but short-lived) London Country Bus Services green livery with the canary yellow relief band plus the yellow London Country fleetname and fleetnumbers. This attractive green livery was applied on London Country's vehicles from 1971 until 1973, when the drab NBC corporate leaf green livery was applied to most of London Country's bus fleet, seeing as the newly-formed London Country Bus Services was part of the National Bus Company. As many of the LT Country Area (and subsequently London Country) RMLs were not overhauled as regularly as their red London Transport counterparts were, this led to most of them retaining their original bodies as is the case with RML 2412 retaining body number B2412.
