The Pink Floyd, publicity photo (Jan.'67?)
I bought this photo from the late Bernard White, who was an authority on The Pink Floyd/ Syd Barrett. He also published 'Terrapin',the first fanzine dedicated to them, and is mentioned in the sleeve notes of some of their LP's. It was printed from an original negative, but I don't know who the photographer was?
I'm assuming it was taken in Sound Techniques Studio, London, at a combined recording and photo session. They spent several days there in January (& into February?), 1967, recording their second single, "Arnold Layne", the follow-up to their chart hit, "See Emily Play"!
